How the conversion works
Annual salary = hourly rate × hours per week × paid weeks per year. Reverse it to go from salary to hourly by dividing instead. The default of 40 hours × 52 weeks assumes full-time with no unpaid time off — lower the "paid weeks" figure if you take unpaid leave.
Example: $25.00/hour at 40 hours/week for 52 weeks is a $52,000 annual salary. A $60,000 salary at the same schedule works out to about $28.85/hour.
